Blocked is a transparency campaign designed to help users check if their websites are being blocked by major fixed line ISPs and mobile networks in the UK. The platform runs instant tests on websites and allows users to submit reclassification requests to ISPs. With the capability of browsing blocked sites by category and keyword, it empowers website owners to reclaim their visibility online. The service also increases awareness about the significant issue of overblocking in internet filtering, especially for innocent sites aimed at children. Over 72 million sites have been tested with a significant number identified as mistakenly blocked.
